Kicking off the Summer in the Hereford Garden!

Welcome to the new Hereford Gardens blogspot! I’m so excited to share all the news from the garden this summer, and it’s going to be busier than ever. It’s been raining for the past three days, and while that makes it much harder than usual to motivate myself to visit the garden, it means everything will be growing like mad! Stay tuned for tomatoes, squash, cucumber, peas, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, and did I mention tomatoes?

In the meantime, enjoy these pictures!

Snap Peas

Snap peas! I can personally attest that they are goood, though it might be a good idea to hold off on munching more until they’re a bit more ripe, haha.

Tiny Tomatoes!

Look!! We’ve got some teeny tomatoes already!

Garlic. Lots of garlic.

And here is the stalwart garlic. To the left is a bed of purple basil (that is not it’s fancy name, I’ll figure that out and let you know when I do), cilantro, and parsley. Yum…

Blackberries! When they actually turn black, they’re going to be delicious. Right now they’re probably tarter than the Queen of Hearts.

Our Beautiful Garden

Featured above are the beautiful carrots! Yup, it’s going to be a great summer. Stay tuned for more updates from the garden!!
